The RETIREMENT ACTUARIAL INTERN will play a vital role in supporting the Actuarial Retirement team in Italy.

This position is ideal for individuals with limited or no prior experience.

At WTW, we are dedicated to influencing the future of retirement and ensuring financial security. We are looking for a retirement actuarial intern who is enthusiastic about gaining knowledge in pension accounting and consulting within our Milan team.

Role Responsibilities

As a pension actuarial intern, the selected candidate will collaborate closely with seasoned actuaries to acquire practical knowledge in pension and retirement accounting evaluations. Key responsibilities will encompass data analysis, aiding in the valuation process, and contributing to the effective execution of valuation tasks.

Main Duties

  • Data Analysis and Modeling: Support the examination of pension plan data, which includes participant demographics and benefit calculations. Utilize WTW actuarial software to execute calculations related to pension liabilities and forecasts.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Generate reports that encapsulate actuarial insights and recommendations. Assist in the preparation of project-related documentation and filing processes.
  • Professional Growth: Gain knowledge of pension accounting standards and best practices. Participate in training sessions and on-the-job learning to advance actuarial competencies.
