Engineering Team

The Engineering Team at Feedzai is responsible for the development and maintenance of our cloud-based platform. We are a team of experienced engineers who are passionate about building innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

We work closely with our Product Management and Data Science teams to design and develop new features that enhance the functionality and security of our platform. Our team is committed to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies.

Your Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to join our Platform Data Services team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based data services that support our platform's scalability and performance.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Designing and implementing cloud-based data services using Kubernetes, Docker, and other containerization technologies.
  2. Developing and maintaining automations and tooling that enhance the platform's capabilities.
  3. Collaborating with experienced engineers to establish interfaces for data services and develop playbooks associated with actionable alerts.
  4. Maintaining and enhancing our Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to efficiently manage end-to-end lifecycle operations in production environments.
  5. Utilizing your experience and problem-solving skills to help prevent and investigate production issues.
Main Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Python, or similar.
  • Hands-on experience with container technologies and orchestration, including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Valuable experience with data streaming and messaging platforms, such as Kafka and Elasticsearch.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins and Gitlab.
  • Demonstrated commitment to staying updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in security and secure coding standards.
  • Experience working with cloud providers, with a preference for AWS Cloud.
  • Expertise in utilizing monitoring and observability stacks, such as Grafana and Prometheus.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices and knowledge or experience in tools like Terraform and Pulumi.
Nice to Have Preferred Qualifications and Skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Kubernetes, Cloud, and Hashicorp certifications or equivalent.
  • Knowledge or experience with Redis and CouchDB.
  • Knowledge of GitOps tools, such as FluxCD and Argo CD.
