Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Infrastructure Project Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Base-Building Electrical Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and improving electrical system maintenance programs and policies, as well as conducting inspections and testing to ensure compliance with local codes and global standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and improve maintenance programs and policies for electrical systems at warehouse locations
  2. Partner with Risk Management and other key stakeholders to ensure compliance with insurance requirements and safety standards
  3. Perform detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications for electrical systems
  4. Inspect installations and observe operations to ensure compliance with design and equipment specifications and safety standards
  5. Conduct power systems studies and analysis using SKM systems
  6. Support operations, construction, and other relevant departments with product development and testing
  7. Audit electrical system maintenance practices globally to identify deviations and corrective actions
  8. Conduct equipment failure investigation and provide mitigation solutions
  9. Monitor trends in electrical system maintenance reports and escalate as necessary to drive improvements to maintenance activities
  10. Support training and start-up of electrical system maintenance and impairment programs at new operations locations
  11. Develop and implement procedures for monitoring, diagnosing, and maintaining performance of assets
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience in a technical support to operations role for electrical distribution systems
  • In-depth knowledge of power system analysis tools and methodologies
  • Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations related to electrical engineering
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience solving problems at a continent or global scale
  • Strong project management capabilities
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with power system electrical testing
  • Experience commissioning power systems
