We are currently in search of a Transport and Installation (T&I) Engineer, who will report directly to the Modular Design Section Head, to become a vital part of our Engineering team based in Italy.
In this role, you will be integrated within the Modular Design Section, responsible for overseeing Proposals, Basic Engineering Design, and Detailed Engineering Design for Modularized Onshore Projects.
As a Transport and Installation Engineer, your primary interactions will be with internal Project teams, Procurement, Construction, and various engineering disciplines, as well as external stakeholders including Clients, Yard fabricators, and Transport Contractors.
Your responsibilities will encompass defining and managing all phases of T&I activities, which include, but are not limited to, aspects related to Marine operations, Lifting procedures, Survey positioning, and Load-out activities, all in close collaboration with the Project Lead and functional teams.
Additionally, you will support the structural design of Modules during both Land and Sea transportation by establishing transportation layouts and providing essential data to structural engineers.
The key responsibilities of this role may include, but are not limited to:
- Developing conceptual and detailed lifting arrangements, SPMT layouts, deck configurations, and sea-fastenings;
- Designing Grillage and Sea Fastening systems;
- Conducting Lift point Design and Lifting Analysis;
- Performing Load-out / Load-in Analysis;
- Designing Load-out Beams;
- Reviewing technical documentation provided by Transport Contractors (SPMT, HTV);
- Issuing and reviewing the technical components of requisitions, bid analyses, and Purchase Orders.

Candidate Profile
We are eager to connect with candidates who meet the following essential qualifications:
- Educational Background: Master’s degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Naval Engineering;
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English;
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Strong problem-solving abilities;
- Experience in creating tools for data management automation;
- Ability to work collaboratively in an international and multicultural setting;
- A growth mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement;
- Excellent presentation and communication skills across all organizational levels;
- Attention to detail and the capability to meet deadlines with high precision and quality;
- Willingness to travel internationally for short or long-term assignments;
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role within the Oil & Gas sector.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel;
- Familiarity with AutoCAD;
- Experience with Microstation;
- Knowledge of SmartPlant Review;
- Proficiency in Navisworks;
- Experience with structural design software (e.g., STAAD Pro, SACS, etc.).
