Role Overview: We are currently seeking an Equipment Engineer to join our EU Engineering team. This position involves significant collaboration and technical expertise to ensure optimal project execution.
Main Responsibilities:
- Engage in the formulation and assessment of User Requirement Specifications (URS) and manage supplier interactions to ensure compliance with project requirements, timelines, and budgets.
- Oversee project development phases, culminating in design reviews in partnership with suppliers.
- Conduct evaluations of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), layout considerations, and utility requirements while addressing system interactions and constraints.
- Work closely with suppliers to monitor project timelines, documentation reviews, and approvals.
- Supervise installation processes, manage supplier schedules, and address any additional costs while ensuring the completion of open point lists through to commissioning.
- Act as a key contributor to project teams, responsible for equipment-related tasks.
- Willingness to travel for Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and project management activities across various European sites.
Qualifications:
- Technical degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in the pharmaceutical sector, with a minimum of 1-2 years.
- Familiarity with primary pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, including aseptic, oral dosage forms, and packaging.
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical technologies and market suppliers, particularly for aseptic production and oral solid dosage.
- Experience with commissioning and qualification processes.
- Strong collaborative skills and a proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in English.
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments and demonstrate flexibility in response to project demands.
- Willingness to travel as required.
