About the Role:
Nordex Group is seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our wind turbines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on wind turbines, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of components.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with wind turbines, using technical knowledge and experience to identify and resolve problems.
- Collaborate with Lead Technicians and other team members to complete complex repair tasks and maintenance activities.
- Work with subcontractors to complete planned maintenance and inspection activities.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, including reports and checklists.
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks.
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards and in accordance with Nordex Group's policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Mid-level electrical and/or mechanical education.
- Minimum of three years of experience in hydraulic, electrical, or mechanical maintenance and repair.
- Excellent technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work at heights and in challenging environments.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts and travel regularly, including nights away from home.
- Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and other relevant software systems.
