We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Professional to join our team at InterSystems in the Milano office. The successful candidate will provide support to the Finance team across all areas on a day-to-day basis.

Key Responsibilities:


• Audit and process vendor invoices and employee expense reports, verifying proper approval, match to purchase order, book proper expense accounts and adherence to all company policies.


• Process invoices into the accounting system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.


• Review and process expense reports, identifying areas for cost savings and process improvements.


• Reconcile monthly and yearly VAT, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.


• Issue invoices to customers, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.


• Assist in collecting outstanding accounts receivable debt, working closely with the sales team to resolve any issues.


• Prepare payments, ensuring timely and accurate processing.


• Prepare daily bank account reconciliation, identifying any discrepancies or issues.


• Maintain the Fixed Assets register, posting depreciation and ensuring accurate tracking of assets.


• Perform other accounting and additional duties as requested, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.


• Assist in the preparation of monthly/yearly closing, ensuring accurate and timely completion.


• Assist in the preparation of the budget process, working closely with the finance team to ensure accurate forecasting.

Requirements:


• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or Diploma in Accounting.


• 2+ years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.


• Good knowledge of Excel and Office, with the ability to analyze and interpret financial data.


• Languages: good level of English (minimum level B1), full Italian proficiency.


• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.


• Flexibility and willingness to learn, with a strong desire to contribute to the success of the finance team.
