We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Engineer to lead our global driveline team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality driveline products that meet our customers' needs.
Main Responsibilities- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to the driveline engineering team, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Product Development: Lead the development of new driveline products, including the definition of product requirements, design, testing, and validation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including release teams, to ensure that driveline products meet customer needs and are delivered on time.
- Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest driveline technologies and trends, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our products.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure that driveline products meet customer needs and are delivered on time.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues that may impact driveline product quality or delivery.
Education: University Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience: 5-8 years of experience in driveline engineering, with a strong background in design, development, and testing of driveline products.
Skills: Strong technical knowledge of driveline systems, including gears, transmissions, and electrified powertrains. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a global cross-functional team.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with problem-solving techniques, such as Red-X and 8D, and knowledge of DFMEA according to AIAG standards.
