About the Role:

The Layout and Piping Design Coordinator will play a crucial role in the success of our industrial plant design projects. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for coordinating the activities of skilled engineers, ensuring the successful delivery of projects within scope, budget, and timeline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Project Management Department to ensure efficient communication and coordination of engineering activities.
  • Plan and report on the status of engineering tasks for each project, ensuring timely execution of required engineering meetings, reporting, and milestones.
  • Supervise and approve project documentation, including plant layout and piping designs.
  • Ensure quotation requests to vendors and external engineering resources are compliant with internal rules.
  • Support the Sales and Service Department with materials cost estimation and consultancy on specific mechanical issues.
  • Cooperate with internal technical departments, including Engineering Management, Process, Instrumentation, and Electrical.
  • Participate in business travel worldwide to attend technical meetings, site activities, and plant surveys.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 10 years of experience in engineering companies operating in the field of industrial plant design.
  • At least 5 years of experience in coordinating piping and layout teams, both internal and external resources.
  • Knowledge of IT tools, including Word, Excel, and AUTOCAD.
  • Experience with 3D piping modeling software, specifically E3D by Aveva.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and create a positive atmosphere.
  • Good written and spoken English language skills.
