RINA is seeking a highly skilled Technical Staff - Food Certification Specialist to join its team in the Italy Food Certification Division.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and control organic certification practices, ensuring compliance with EU regulations.
- Support the organic manager in the preparation of assignment to inspectors and review of practices.
- Conduct audits, interviews, and evaluations to identify and define audit results.
- Participate in the organic certification process decision, including certification committee and certification issue.
- Carry out technical reviews of audit files and provide insights and recommendations for certification decisions.
- Verify customer management system documents for compliance with standards and regulations.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Quality Management System lead auditor qualification (40 hours).
- Courses on organic certification schemes (Reg UE 2018/848, etc).
- Experience in the management and control of organic certification schemes (min 1 year).
- Mipaaf authorization for at least the following activities as inspector: vegetable production, food preparation, livestock production, wine.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Italian.
- Effective decision-making and prioritization.
- Ability to manage emotions and maintain a big picture perspective.
- Client intimacy and trust-building skills.
- Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
