Our company, 2402 Flextronics Design S.r.l., is a leading provider of design and manufacturing services for the medical industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PCB Layout Engineer to join our team in Milan.
Key Responsibilities- Design, layout, and library parts management of medical printed circuit boards.
- Generate complete documentation for manufacturability, including gerber files, fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and all supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute design methodology.
- Implement design standards, including DFM and DFT, to satisfy manufacturing requirements.
- Provide library support, with a full understanding of parts creation, pad stacks, required spacing, and clearances.
- Participate in design reviews.
- Graduate in Electrical Engineering (MS degree) and a minimum of 3 years PCB design experience with comprehensive knowledge of design requirements as they relate to electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing requirements.
- Proficiency in Altium Designer and experience with Orcad Capture CIS and Cadence Allegro.
- Knowledge of PCB stack-up as it relates to impedance, cross-coupling, and capacitance.
- Ability to manually route multi-layer printed circuit boards with analog circuitry.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, procedures, and design requirements for board fabrication and assembly procedures.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- Willingness to travel abroad for short periods of time.
- Strong team player with a willingness to learn.
