Manufacturing Process Improvement Specialist

We are seeking innovative individuals who are eager to contribute to our mission of enhancing safety and security through advanced electrical solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Evaluate cycle data from the R&D Department to assess technical feasibility, phase sequencing, resource allocation, and timelines;
  • Create Production Operating Instructions for manual tasks;
  • Conduct cycle operation analyses and perform time studies utilizing standard Work Analysis - Times and Methods methodologies;
  • Establish Standard Manufacturing Times by verifying actual processing durations, determining standard values based on work analysis criteria, and updating management information systems;
  • Engage in Data Analysis to explore issues and propose improvement strategies;
  • Map processes to identify critical areas and improvement opportunities;
  • Conduct Economic Evaluations of Convenience to project expected recoveries from improvement initiatives;
  • Update databases to reflect changes in production parameters and maintain shared databases with the R&D Department, ensuring standard references are reported;
  • Promote and implement Lean principles in collaboration with relevant Managers to facilitate change;
  • Ensure alignment of strategy, objectives, and KPIs with Operational Excellence principles;
  • Analyze and oversee the execution of the Improvement Plan across designated production sites;
  • Facilitate and monitor internal and external audits in accordance with the Performance Improvement Plan;
  • Participate in loss analysis, identifying priorities and opportunities for performance enhancement;
  • Support, train, and assist operational staff in the execution of LEAN projects;
  • Establish the Kaizen tool for specific projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Educational Background:
    • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 2 years of technical experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Skills:
    • Comprehensive knowledge of product technical specifications and offerings.
    • Advanced understanding of electrical and thermal terminology.
    • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes.
    • Proficiency in reading and interpreting product schematics.
    • Ability to foster and maintain effective working relationships across various functional areas, including internal and external stakeholders.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    • Capacity to contribute valuable insights and information to assist the team, particularly in problem-solving scenarios.
    • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
