EI/RI Data migration specialist

Job Overview

As a Data Migration Specialist, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the transfer and transformation of data between Philips RI and various leading vendor systems, ensuring comprehensive solutions for healthcare organizations.

You will collaborate within a project team that includes Philips RI personnel, clients, and third-party vendors.

Your responsibilities will encompass both Pre & Post Sales Phases across the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Migration Analysis:

  • Document client requirements and expectations.
  • Collect necessary information regarding legacy systems for migration.
  • Validate the target RI solution and workflow, implementing necessary modifications for migration.
  • Develop a comprehensive data migration strategy.
  • Conduct preliminary risk assessments for the migration process.

Data Migration Execution:

  • Establish data migration channels.
  • Execute migration for QA sample sets, gather and analyze client feedback.
  • Carry out migration tasks effectively.
  • Manage any exceptions that arise during the process.
  • Generate reports and documentation as required.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • University Degree/Master's Degree or equivalent in IT, technical field, or a related discipline.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a comparable position.
  • Proficiency in database design, implementation, and administration (Oracle DBA experience is a plus but not mandatory).
  • Experience in developing simple integration components (Visual Studio, .Net, Java, J2EE, PL/SQL, C, C++, COM object-based interfaces, Web interfaces, XML, Soap, etc.).
  • Familiarity with medical standards such as DICOM and Health Level Seven (HL7), as well as Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Italian and possess excellent verbal and written English skills.
