About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will have the opportunity to:
- Coordinate the repair and maintenance of machinery and equipment of the assigned areas.
- Lead all aspects of maintenance, repair, and project planning.
- Ensure that periodic and preventive maintenance are appropriately scheduled and accomplished, and that emergency troubleshooting and maintenance support are readily available as needed.
- Ensure the correct execution of maintenance tasks with quality, timeliness, and HSE compliance.
- Plan and prioritize work orders, scheduling overall repair and maintenance to minimize production downtime.
- Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities to improve reliability and resolve acceptable risk tolerance for equipment.
- Be responsible for the budget of your areas.
- Engage the team responsible for the repairs and maintenance of equipment and machines.
- Monitor maintenance KPIs and engage team members on continuous improvement.
- Be responsible for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions, as well as technical growth for the direct reports.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 1 year of experience in complex environments.
- The ability to work on several tasks simultaneously.
- Strong People Management skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a context of constant change.
- A passion for challenges and a commitment to taking responsibility seriously.
