We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PDS Analytical Development Specialist to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our Pharmaceutical Development Services (PDS) team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of new pharmaceutical products.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and plan laboratory activities in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and International Conference on Harmonisation (ICH) guidelines.
- Support PDS projects by participating in daily calls with clients and internal meetings to ensure timely project delivery.
- Develop, transfer, and validate analytical methods for small and large molecule analysis using various techniques such as High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gas Chromatography (GC), Infrared (IR), and Ultraviolet (UV) spectroscopy.
- Conduct routine and stability analysis, and ensure that all testing processes meet SOPs and cGMP regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new concepts, techniques, and standards.
- Prepare and verify reports, and ensure that all experimental data are in accordance with Attributable, Legible, Contemporaneous, Original, and Accurate (ALCOA) principles.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as chemistry, biology, or pharmaceutical sciences.
- Minimum 2-3 years of laboratory experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or research environment.
- Strong knowledge of analytical techniques, instrumentation, and software, including Empower and MS Office.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Flexibility, good organization, and planning skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
