Procurement Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Tn Italy. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of projects and the achievement of Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a commodities strategy to meet business needs
• Ensure project execution aligns with QCD objectives and identify opportunities for cost reduction
• Pilot local contractual relationships with suppliers and negotiate cost reductions
• Manage supplier relationships, including identification of project and business needs, preparation and launch of Request For Quotation, and negotiation of cost reductions
• Provide inputs for order placement and ensure QCD targets are achieved, including CONQ (Cost Of Non Quality) and claims management
• Lead supplier QCD performance reviews and manage initial issues before escalation to line manager
• Respect Alstom Transport code of ethics and guidelines

Commodity Support:

• Consolidate commodity needs and actively participate in commodity strategy and panel elaboration
• Support the Commodity Manager in the tender phase and represent the commodities towards projects, platforms, and solutions
• Apply Alstom Sourcing processes and provide return on experience

Project/Tender Involvement:

• Closely work with sourcing project/tender representatives to ensure work package commitment respect and QCD targets
