RINA is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join its team in the Green Energy Solutions Division.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide Owner's Engineering Services and Independent Engineering Services for BESS and renewable energy projects in Italy and Southeast Europe.
  2. Travel approximately 10% of the time to conduct site visits and inspections.

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Review resource availability studies, technology studies, and structural studies for wind and solar projects.
  2. Review electrical design projects, contractual documentation, and environmental studies.
  3. Execute feasibility studies and preliminary design of BESS and renewable power plants.
  4. Manage projects, including proactive communication with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders.
  5. Support in the preparation of proposals and reports.
  6. Support in the preparation and management of tendering, negotiation, and selection of contractors and key component providers.
  7. Conduct on-site visit inspections and produce reports.

Requirements:

  1. Electrical engineering background or experience in electrical design, preferably in an Engineering & Consultancy Company or EPC Contractor.
  2. Proficiency in AutoCad and PVcase.
  3. Over 8 years of renewable energy experience in solar PV or wind, with at least 2 years in BESS.
  4. Experience in renewable permitting process is advantageous.
  5. Previous experience working for an Engineering & Consultancy Firm or EPC Contractor is beneficial.
  6. Excellent level of written and spoken English is essential.

Education:

Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Management Engineering.
