Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our remote team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust and efficient server-side applications using Java. Your expertise will be crucial in powering our fintech solutions and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Java Development: Utilize your expertise in Java to create scalable and efficient server-side applications that power our fintech solutions.
  • API Development: Design and implement RESTful and SOAP APIs, ensuring seamless data exchange between the front end and back end systems.
  • Microservices Architecture: Contribute to the development of microservices architecture, allowing our applications to scale efficiently.
  • Version Control: Collaborate effectively with the development team by using tools like GIT and BitBucket for version control.
  • Local Development Environment: Set up and use a local development server to facilitate testing and debugging processes.
  • Database Management: Work with databases, including MySQL and DynamoDB, to manage data effectively.
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS): Leverage your knowledge of Amazon applications such as ELB, SQS, SES, SWF, and SNS to develop and deploy cloud-based solutions.
  • Play Framework: Explore the Play Framework for web application development, using it to build scalable and responsive backend systems.
Requirements
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Back End Developer with expertise in Java development.
  • Strong proficiency in REST, SOAP, and microservices development.
  • Familiarity with development tools such as IntelliJ, GIT, and BitBucket.
  • Ability to set up and use a local development server for testing.
  • Experience with Java 11, Spring Boot, MySQL, and DynamoDB.
  • Knowledge of Amazon applications like ELB, SQS, SES, SWF, and SNS.
  • Familiarity with the Play Framework for web application development.
  • Proficiency in DB2 and Oracle database SQL development.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote team.
