**Job Summary**
We are seeking a brilliant solution engineer with a background in software development to join our Agile IoT teams to help us in the complete transformation of our applications, moving from consolidated technologies to architectures of the latest generation that exploit the most modern concepts of open architectures, serverless, and cloud computing. You will be part of a context that deals with IoT-related topics, focused primarily on mobility and the connected world, with the possibility of working in an international context.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage the design and implementation of new IoT services, respecting the relevant test coverage, using test automation, and supervising external suppliers.
- Design and implement DevOps processes (leveraging existing assets, models, and methodologies within the IT Department) through a continuous improvement process.
- Participate in the design application of solutions to be implemented in your area of responsibility.
- Develop software on streaming data platforms using modern programming languages.
- Support less experienced developers in the implementation of the project, in the use of technical-functional knowledge, in training activities, and in writing documentation.
- Ensure the quality of the implemented code through testing (TDD paradigms are used) and test automation.
- Research new techniques for continuous improvement of the activity.
- Have frequent and regular interactions and comparisons with other IT functions and with the main business references involved.
**Required Skills**
- Experience in architectural design and application development on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly:
- Cloud Functions (serverless application development)
- Firestore
- BigTable
- BigQuery
- Proven knowledge of the following programming languages:
- NodeJS (ExpressJS - JEST)
- Python (Flask)
- Experience with DevOps toolchain for CI/CD through GitFlow approach
- Experience in Automatic Testing (Unit/Integration/e2e)
- Code quality inspection with SonarQ
- Code Versioning – GIT or AWS code commit
- Utilization of Jenkins
- Understanding of security principles in API exposure: OAUTH2, OIDC, JWT
- Experience with Apigee
- Utilization of OpenAPI and Swagger
**Requirements**
- Laurea in scientific disciplines
- At least 5 years of experience in architectural design and programming in complex contexts with advanced technological systems
- Excellent knowledge of OOP design patterns
- Good knowledge of Gitlab, Jenkins, and cloud architectures, and knowledge of distributed systems like Apache Beam and Dataflow
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
- Knowledge and living of the Agile approach according to one of the reference methodologies (Scrum, XP, …) as well as DevOps and CI/CD and SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) themes
- Team working attitude, flexibility, analytical and problem-solving skills, creativity, innovation, innate curiosity, and business-oriented mindset
