Linux System Administrator
At Be Much, we are seeking a Linux Systems professional.
What will your responsibilities include?
Your primary role will involve overseeing infrastructures, servers, and services while delivering exceptional support to our clients. Autonomy, accountability, and effective communication with team members will be crucial for achieving our objectives. We aim to provide top-tier assistance services, and therefore, in addition to essential technical skills, it is vital to possess a strong motivation to assist others, a courteous demeanor, and a proactive attitude.
What qualifications are we looking for?
A minimum of 3 years of experience in hosting, service, or internet service provider environments. Proficient understanding of DNS services and domain management. Solid knowledge of traditional LAMP stack and email server configurations. Familiarity with TCP/IP protocols and networking issues related to LAN and WAN. Competence in scripting with BASH. Experience with at least one of the following virtualization technologies: Proxmox, VMware, KVM, Docker. Proficient in technical English, both spoken and written.What additional skills do we value?
Familiarity with hosting control panels such as cPanel and Plesk. Knowledge of virtualization platforms including VMware (vCenter, ESXi), KVM, Openstack, Docker, Kubernetes, and Proxmox. Experience with automated infrastructure management tools like Ansible. Scripting abilities in other languages such as Perl, Ruby, Python, or PHP. Engagement in local Linux User Groups (LUG). A strong emphasis on courtesy and professionalism in customer interactions.What do we offer?
