Job DescriptionJob Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our Primary Care team at Musckids. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and treatments.
- Measure and record patient vital signs, including pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height.
- Interview patients to gather medical history and information.
- Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for patient examinations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited medical assisting program.
- One year of patient care experience preferred.
- Certification through the American Medical Technologist (AMT) or American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or National Health Career Association (NHA) or MedCA as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
