We are seeking a highly skilled Scientific Research Assistant to join our team at Randstad Italia, supporting the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) in their Feed and Contaminants unit.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in scientific research and data analysis, with excellent proficiency in English. As a Scientific Research Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to the Feed and Contaminants unit in the following activities:
- Data Extraction and Analysis: Extract data from dossiers, draft sections of opinions, and check consistency of data between the draft opinion and the dossier.
- Confidential Data Management: Check opinions for confidential data and follow up with applicants.
- Publication Support: Support the publication process, ensuring timely and accurate dissemination of information.
- Scientific Report Compilation: Understand and interpret scientific reports in the area of feed additives, compile evidence (data and information), and draft clear, concise, and structured scientific reports using appropriate scientific terminology.
- Database Search and Evidence Collection: Search databases to collect evidence and support the risk assessment process on feed additives.
- Project Monitoring and Progress Tracking: Monitor project progress and results according to the workplan, ensuring timely completion and high-quality deliverables.
