About the Role

We are seeking a clear-thinking, organized, and enthusiastic self-starter to work as a Backend Developer. The position will be closely collaborating with our in-house frontend team to build and evolve our ecommerce and marketplace management applications.

The successful candidate is a precise, data-driven person, with a superior level of attention to details. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintain and evolve the ecommerce platform backend
  • Maintain and evolve the storefront and admin API
  • Maintain and evolve the custom-built CMS
  • Integrate new payment systems and 3rd-party tools
Requirements

You have developed backend systems and API for at least 2 years. You are fluent in SQL, particularly with Postgres. You work in agile/scrum and have performed code reviews for your teammates. You are proficient in Docker containers and have a good understanding of code versioning tools, particularly Git. You communicate fluently in English.

Nice to Haves

Spree Commerce experience is a plus. Contributions to open-source projects and ecommerce experience are also desirable.
