RINA is actively seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to enhance its team within the Cyber Security and Management Consulting Division.

Objective

We are in search of a junior cybersecurity engineer to strengthen our technical workforce.
Candidates with less than 5 years of experience in the domain are welcome, provided they possess a technical academic background in computer engineering or computer science, along with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

The selected individual will be responsible for:
- Conducting technical tasks such as:
o Identifying security vulnerabilities within organizations and intricate systems/architectures;
o Designing security protocols and offering recommendations to enhance security
measures;
o Ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and standards related to security and
cybersecurity;
o Assisting clients in cybersecurity-related initiatives;
o Preparing technical documentation;
o Potentially engaging in software code/script development.

Educational Background

Master's Degree in Computer Engineering or Cyber Security.

Required Qualifications

Candidates should possess:
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, international standards, and best practices in Information Security/Cybersecurity (e.g., ISO27k family, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, NIS Directives, ISA62443, Common Criteria/ISO15408, etc.);
- Proficiency in programming languages (particularly Java, C/C++/C#, VB.Net, Python), their interfaces with major DBMS, and their development environments;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities in both Italian and English;
- Adaptability and capability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment;
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Preferred Qualifications

- Security Certifications such as ISO270001 Qualified Lead Auditor, GIAC/GICSP or ISA62443 related certifications, CEH, OSCP, ISACA CISM/CISA/CRISC, ISC2 CISSP are advantageous.
Previous experience in security certification processes for IT products (regarding Common Criteria) will be considered a plus.
