Job Title: Bar Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bar Manager to join our team at Armani Hotel Milano. As a Bar Manager, you will be responsible for leading our bar team to deliver exceptional customer service and create a memorable experience for our guests.
Main Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Select, train, evaluate, develop, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees to ensure that established cultural and standards are met.
- Customer Service: Be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns, or special requests for guests.
- Menu Development: Describe and ensure quality of all food and beverage items, ingredients, and preparation methods, as well as provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits in an elegantly appointed environment.
- Menu Engineering: Generate and analyze the monthly menu engineering report, taking proactive steps to maintain profitability based on the result of the report.
- Operational Management: Attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments.
- Financial Management: Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory and cash control.
- Concept Development: Maintain the concept and position of the Bamboo bar in the community and knowledge of competition and industry trends.
- Collaboration: Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
Qualifications and Expertise:
- Food and Beverage Knowledge: Solid knowledge of Food & Beverage, strong work ethic, and people-management skills.
- Experience: Two Years Management experience in the same position.
- Preferred Qualifications: 5-Star Hotel Deluxe experience, college degree preferably specializing in bar/restaurant/hotel management, or equivalent experience.
