Role Overview: Technical Support Engineer
Location: Lisburn
Daily Responsibilities:
As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be instrumental in delivering technical insights and assistance to our clients, ensuring optimal performance of their equipment. Your key duties will encompass troubleshooting, configuration, and effective communication to resolve client concerns and enhance our product offerings.Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough technical analysis of reported client issues, generating findings, conclusions, and actionable solutions.
  • Assist clients in configuring and integrating our equipment within their operational frameworks.
  • Troubleshoot fundamental mechanical and electrical connections in client environments.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather essential technical information for resolving intricate issues.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients via phone and email to provide updates on support cases.
  • Offer real-time support to Field Service Engineers during installation, commissioning, and repair activities.
  • Develop work instructions and training materials to assist clients and field service engineers.
  • Keep precise records of all field installations using Salesforce (CRM).
  • Identify quality issues encountered in the field and initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
  • Prepare dashboards and reports detailing progress, deliverables, and areas for enhancement.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Higher National Diploma (HND) or higher in an engineering discipline, or a minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical application role.
  • Prior experience in a client-facing position.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A positive attitude with a strong desire to learn and expand industry and product knowledge.
  • Attention to detail and effective time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
