About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our Service and Operations team at Ascom Holding AG. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for configuring, installing, and extending our healthcare software solutions, ensuring they meet the highest standards and improve hospital operations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Engage in the computerization and field support project for critical areas and operating rooms at a leading hospital in Italy and Europe.
  2. Develop specialized healthcare software skills and serve as an IT consultant for the hospital, assisting in the selection and implementation of optimal technological solutions.
  3. Participate in all project phases, working closely with the Ascom Project Manager to coordinate activities with the customer and third parties, from initiation to execution.
  4. Collaborate with clients and third parties throughout the project's lifecycle, ensuring successful implementation and commissioning.
  5. Expand your role to other significant projects within the Italian healthcare system.
Requirements
  1. Knowledge of a programming language and software development methodologies.
  2. Knowledge of the SQL standard for querying relational databases.
  3. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  4. Capacity to build strong relationships with customers.
  5. Good workload management skills.
  6. Team spirit and proactivity.
  7. Willingness to work mainly in the client's office, with some travel in Italy and abroad.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Database querying, knowledge of Microsoft T-SQL language.
  2. Knowledge of HL7 CDA-2, DICOM, FHIR data interchange standards.
  3. Previous experience in the configuration of products in the healthcare sector.
  4. Programming knowledge in:
  • C#
  • VB Script
  • ASP.NET Core
  • JavaScript and/or TypeScript
  • HTML5
  • CSS3
  • CSS
  • ReactJS
