As a key contributor in the realm of Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) applications, the individual will take on the role of a junior specialist, focusing on both commercial and proprietary tools.

Primary Responsibilities:

In relation to both commercial software (including systems for 3D modeling, material management, P&ID drafting and management, instrument data management, and electrical design management) and proprietary applications:

  • Execute installation and configuration tasks for applications on server and client workstations;
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to liaise with ICT for any activities that necessitate administrative actions or have security implications;
  • Engage with users for advanced troubleshooting or support to assist help-desk troubleshooting and provide training to key users;
  • Recognize emerging needs, develop associated technical documentation, and oversee the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and deployment phases of new applications, features, or releases;
  • Participate in the development or customization of applications while ensuring the issuance of comprehensive technical documentation;
  • Oversee the user authorization process by supporting all relevant company functions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Technical diploma in Information Technology;
  • A minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience in the CAE domain within engineering firms in the petrochemical, oil & gas, or power sectors;
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English;
  • Extensive knowledge of Marian/Smart Plant Material systems;
  • Exceptional teamwork skills and the ability to engage in international environments.
