Security Solution Architect - Microsoft
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Security Solution Architect to join our team at Avanade. As a Security Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative security solutions based on Microsoft technologies, particularly Microsoft Sentinel and the XDR suite.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement complex security architectures, integrating multiple components and data sources.
- Analyze customer needs and define the most suitable security architectures for their context.
- Lead the delivery of security projects, coordinating technical activities and managing relationships with customers and partners.
- Interact with customers at the CISO/CIO/CTO level, supporting executive briefings and partnerships for innovation.
- Support pre-sales activities, contributing to the definition of proposals and commercial offers.
- Continuously update your skills on Microsoft Security solutions, participating in courses, events, and certification programs.
- Work with analysts and consultants, promoting the growth of junior resources.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience in the role of Security Solution Architect or Security Consultant, with a focus on Microsoft technologies.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft security solutions in Azure and Microsoft 365, such as Microsoft Sentinel, Azure Defender, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Defender for Identity, Microsoft Cloud App Security, Azure Active Directory, Azure Information Protection, Microsoft Intune, etc.
- Ability to design and implement complex security architectures, integrating multiple components and data sources.
- Knowledge of main security standards and frameworks, such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, etc.
- Communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with customers and partners.
- Teamwork, problem-solving, and innovation attitude.
- Good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications
- Possession of one or more of the following certifications will be a preferred requirement:
- Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert - SC:100.
- Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate - SC:200.
- Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate - SC:300.
- Microsoft Certified: Information Protection and Compliance Administrator Associate - SC:400.
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate - MS:500.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate - AZ:500.
- CISSP/CISM/CISA
- Experience with other security technologies or platforms, such as AWS, Google Cloud, IBM, Cisco, Palo Alto, Splunk, etc.
- Experience with penetration testing methodologies and tools, vulnerability assessment, threat hunting, etc.
