Are you ready to embark on a new journey in the USA and become a specialist in automation technology? Join Sidel's expert team and assist us in providing high-performance machinery to our clients. We are seeking an Automation Field Service Engineer to focus on aseptic filling systems. You will begin your career in Parma (Italy) with a comprehensive training program lasting twelve months, after which you will transition to our office in Atlanta, USA, joining the Field Service Engineering Team responsible for Aseptic Technology across the Americas.
Your Mission
- Execute the installation, start-up, and commissioning of Aseptic Fillers at customer locations.
- Cultivate a deep understanding of customer requirements to deliver informed recommendations and ensure satisfaction.
- Assess and analyze equipment performance at client facilities, adhering to technical, contractual, and safety standards. Effectively manage and resolve equipment discrepancies.
- Work with automation systems and HMI for routine operations and troubleshooting. Conduct basic electrical tasks (such as cable wiring) and perform PLC testing and repairs.
Your Profile
- Technical diploma or Engineering degree.
- Over 2 years of experience in technical positions.
- Proficiency with PLC systems.
- Experience in electrical installations and cabling.
- Proficient in English.
- Background in the beverage industry is advantageous.
- Willingness to relocate permanently to the USA (Atlanta) after one year in Parma (Italy).
- Availability for travel (minimum 200 days per year).
