Job Summary

Project Manager for Test and Validation is responsible for overseeing the overall coordination, implementation, and execution of specific projects to ensure consistency with company strategy and goals. This role involves maintaining a work schedule for the assigned team and providing updates for weekly staff meetings, guaranteeing timing, costs, and quality of the project in accordance with defined targets. The Project Manager is accountable for all project documentation and serves as an interface between the team, management, and customers.

A Day in the Life:
  1. Analysis of project test requirements versus test and validation requirements during the request for quotation (RFQ) phase
  2. Analysis of the instrumentation necessary to complete the design verification (DV) and production validation (PV) phase
  3. Analysis of qualification costs for the RFQ phase
  4. Development of test plans and test reports in accordance with customer requirements
  5. Coordination of internal resources and equipment for the execution of projects
  6. Ensuring that projects are delivered on-time, in accordance with test plans, and within budget
  7. Monitoring and reporting on project progress to all stakeholders
  8. Reporting problems to customers, proposing solutions, and alternative solutions
  9. Implementing and managing project changes and/or interventions to achieve project outputs
Requirements:
  1. Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent
  2. Strong technical background with preferably automotive experience
  3. Knowledge of power electronics and product test and validation processes (EMC testing, environmental testing, etc.)
  4. Basic knowledge of project management and product lifecycle management
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Project and/or JIRA
  6. Excellent English language skills, both spoken and written
  7. Time and risk management skills, with the ability to organize
  8. Excellent communication and conflict management skills
  9. Reporting and problem-solving skills
