About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Requirements Management Specialist to join our team at Alstom. As a Requirements Management Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our products meet the contractual requirements of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement Requirements Management Processes: Develop and implement requirements management processes on tenders, projects, and product development, ensuring that all stakeholders have access to the DOORS database and are trained on the tool, process, and methodology.
  • Support Governance and Compliance: Ensure that all requirements management policies are followed, and obtain approval from the central RM Métier for any deviations to the process.
  • Act as Deputy to the TPM: Support the Train Performance Manager in the application of the requirements management process on a day-to-day basis, including defining the RM strategy, writing and maintaining the RM plan, and communicating project status through relevant KPIs.
  • Drive Engineers in Requirement Development Activities: Help scope owners build requirements specifications and ensure the traceability of requirements to design and validation, perform requirements quality reviews, and provide feedback and propose improvements.
  • Perform Change and Configuration Management: Make baselines according to requirements management processes, in cooperation with the configuration manager, and govern and maintain Baseline Release Notes according to the Product Baseline Strategy.
  • Contribute to RM Network: Provide feedback and improvements to the Global RM Métier through the RM Site representative, support the Global RM Métier in documenting processes, methodologies, and trainings, and support DOORS bug reports, issue resolution, and tools upgrades.
Requirements
  • University Degree in Engineering: With a minimum of two years of requirements-related experience utilizing database solutions for requirements management (e.g., DOORS).
  • Practical Experience: Working on projects at various stages in a project lifecycle.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills in English.
  • Systems Engineering/Integration Conceptual Knowledge: Systems engineering/integration conceptual knowledge.
  • Technical Writing and Requirement Elicitation: Technical writing, requirement elicitation, and formalization.
