Job Title: Scientific Assistant
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Scientific Assistant to join our team at Randstad Italia Spa. As a Scientific Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Scientific Officers with the production of scientific reports and opinions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collecting and collating data from scientific databases and literature
- Supporting Scientific Officers with the production of scientific reports and opinions
- Collaborating with Scientific Officers to ensure adherence to timelines for mandate evaluation, publication, and correspondence
- Supporting the organisation of meetings with external experts, drafting agendas, and taking minutes
- Preparing and attending meetings with external stakeholders
- Supporting the performance of scientific literature search and systematic review
Requirements:
- Excellent knowledge of English (at least B2 level)
- Bachelor's and/or master's degree in Chemistry or Toxicology
- Experience in drafting scientific/academic reports in formal English
- At least 6 months of relevant working experience in one of the following areas: chemistry, food safety, toxicology, chemical risk assessment
- Knowledge of EU regulations and/or procedures applicable to the evaluation of Food Contact Materials is an asset
- Working with others, analysis, and problem-solving, drive for results, good level of autonomy
What We Offer:
- Initial contract of 2 months with possibility of extensions
- Expected duration of assignment: 6 months
- Salary: approx €2145 per month before taxes
- Work modalities: office work required on at least 2 days per week, remote work possible within 2 hours from Parma, Italy for the remaining days
