Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transport Specialist to join our team in Italy. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling land, sea, and train transports, as well as providing exceptional customer service to our existing clients.

Main Responsibilities

  • Transport Planning and Scheduling
    • Plan and schedule land, sea, and train transports to meet customer requirements and company objectives.
    • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of transportation operations.
  • Customer Service
    • Act as primary point of contact for existing customers, providing exceptional service and support.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Transport Operations
    • Book transport services and handle organization and support for transport planning activities.
    • Collaborate with the Transport Team Manager to develop customer-specific solutions and projects.

Requirements

  • Professional Qualifications
    • Graduated school diploma or completed university education in a relevant field, such as logistics or transportation.
  • Language Skills
    • Very good Italian and English language skills. German and/or Spanish language skills are considered a plus.
  • Work Experience
    • Previous experience in the transportation industry, preferably in an intermodal dispatcher or transport specialist role.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Professional attitude and approach.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
