Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Center of Excellence "Flat Products" in San Donato Milanese, Italy. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating Electric & Automation supplies for rolling mills and processing lines, as well as participating in sales project engineering and leading meetings with customers and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate Electric & Automation supplies for rolling mills and processing lines;
- Participate in sales project engineering and prepare technical specifications;
- Lead meetings with customers, suppliers, and consortium members;
- Manage technical systems, including fluid systems, and ensure proper interfaces with Electric & Automation;
- Define machinery functional logics with the mechanical department;
- Prepare Basic Engineering Documents, including motor/component lists, electromechanical functional descriptions, and safety documents;
- Prepare technical documentation for purchasing and supplier selection;
- Provide feedback on gained knowledge to sales and execution teams;
- Assist with site visits during shipment, erection, and commissioning phases.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with knowledge of power supply, drives, motors, sensors, and automation systems;
- Ability to read and understand fluid schematics and mechanical engineering drawings;
- Experience in sales and engineering of complex electrical and automation systems;
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken;
- Readiness for worldwide business trips;
- Operational readiness, assertiveness, negotiation skills, and ability to work in a team.
