About the Role:

Jacobs is expanding its operations in Italy and is seeking a highly experienced Senior Piping Coordinator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and guide a team of engineers and designers in the development of piping systems.
  • Oversee the execution of FEED and Detail Engineering projects, with a focus on field engineering activities.
  • Analyze design changes and communicate their impact on budget and project schedule.
  • Participate in 3D model reviews and ensure compliance with international codes.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and lead offices.
  • Mentor small project leads and provide guidance on project management.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance productivity and quality.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 20 years of experience in the Piping Department of a large organization.
  • Significant knowledge of piping layout, pipe routing, support design, stress analysis, and 3D design model reviews.
  • Proficiency in PDS/PDMS/SP3D modeling software and SPR/Navisworks review.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical and chemical industries is an added advantage.
  • Strong leadership and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of ISO Quality Management procedures and management training.
