About the Role
Fitch Group, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our European Structured Finance team in Milan. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in maintaining existing ratings and assigning ratings to new structured finance transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement default, recovery, and cash flow modeling to provide high-quality credit opinions to investors and other market participants.
- Conduct on-site reviews of underwriting and servicing of transaction originators and CLO managers.
- Prepare rating proposals for presentation to internal rating committees.
- Communicate rating rationale to investors and other market participants through presale reports, presentations, and meetings.
- Assist in the development of criteria and supporting research.
Requirements
- Highly motivated and experienced candidate with prior experience in finance.
- Knowledge of securitisation structures and in particular CLOs would be beneficial.
- Highly numerate and analytical, with advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to review and analyze legal contracts from a credit risk perspective.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
