Position Overview

We are in search of a Purchasing Coordinator to become a vital part of the Alpinestars Purchasing Department, equipped with a robust problem-solving approach to supplier management.

The selected candidate will oversee the complete lifecycle of purchase orders, ensuring compliance with the company’s directives from initiation to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with suppliers regarding required quantities and timelines to align with production schedules, adhering to logistics requirements;
• Facilitate the flow of information between suppliers and internal stakeholders to meet company objectives, ensuring accurate data entry into the system;
• Engage in minor negotiations for specific projects or components, operating within the parameters set by the Purchasing Manager;
• Track suppliers' estimated delivery times, prioritizing communication with suppliers based on logistics guidelines and updating product availability in the system;
• Verify shipping documents against corresponding supply orders, updating document information in the system and collaborating with the Import Office for import document management;
• Conduct reporting and analysis to support purchasing decisions.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Degree in Economics or a related field;
• Relevant experience in a similar purchasing role;
• Proficient in MS Office applications;
• Strong command of the English language;
• Dynamic personality with a proactive and hands-on approach;
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, with a focus on problem-solving.
