Key Responsibilities

The Senior Quality Assurance Leader position is integral to our Italian Legal & Compliance Team, overseeing all aspects of Quality, Information Security systems, Health & Safety, and compliance for the Italian region.

This role involves managing both internal and external auditing processes related to ISO9001/ISO27001, Health & Safety regulations, Privacy laws (GDPR), Sustainability initiatives, and compliance with Legislative Decree 231/01. The individual will adapt global and European procedures to meet local business requirements and legislation.

The Senior Quality Assurance Leader will operate in both local and international contexts, collaborating closely with the Italian Legal & Compliance Manager and European Governance Risk & Compliance stakeholders.

Main Duties Include:

  • Formulating and executing risk and compliance policies, principles, and procedures that promote proactive risk management within the country;
  • Coordinating the application of group policies and procedures at the local level;
  • Overseeing periodic internal reviews and external audits conducted by certification bodies;
  • Conducting external assessments of third parties and clients;
  • Researching emerging compliance issues and reviewing related documentation and contractual agreements;
  • Providing information to facilitate the onboarding of new employees and developing training materials that clarify company policies;
  • Delivering regular updates on the status of risk and compliance matters;
  • Assisting the RSPP in preparing necessary Safety documentation for our technical operations at client sites;
  • Conducting Health & Safety training for new employees;
  • Monitoring mandatory Health & Safety training and requesting updates or additional training as needed;
  • Supporting the activities of the Supervisory Body (OdV);
  • Managing essential documents in accordance with EU regulation 2016/679 - GDPR;
  • Assisting clients in providing necessary data to confirm compliance with security regulations;
  • Acting as a local point of contact for the Europe Information Security Officer;
  • Collaborating with the European Sustainability team to gather and provide country-specific data for our sustainability objectives;
  • Completing client onboarding questionnaires related to Sustainability, Security, Safety, and Quality;
  • Facilitating the onboarding of third parties in alignment with our compliance standards.

Qualifications for Success:

  • Master's degree in Economics, Law, or Management Engineering with a focus on Quality, Assurance, and Regulatory Affairs;
  • Extensive experience in a similar role within the IT/ICT sector;
  • Strong understanding of ISO9001 and ISO27001 standards;
  • Familiarity with Legislative Decree 231/01 and D.lgs81/08;
  • Proficient in Risk Management practices;
  • Demonstrated experience in managing internal and external audits;
  • Exceptional skills in analyzing and managing organizational processes;
  • Previous experience in the RSPP role (preferred);
  • Auditor certification (preferred);
  • Ability to work effectively in team settings;
  • Client-focused mindset;
  • Innovative approach to continuous improvement;
  • Strong problem-solving skills;
  • Effective communication skills with C-level executives;
  • Fluency in English (both spoken and written);
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
