About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Knowledge Transfer Manager to join our team in Caponago, Italy. As a key member of our Contracting Management team, you will be responsible for the execution of the Knowledge Management (KM) process within Contracting.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage the knowledge management portfolio, including categories, associated documents, roles, and teams.
  • Propose modifications to the knowledge management process to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Estimate maintenance efforts for knowledge maintenance per business year.
  • Propose additions to the knowledge portfolio and associated effort versus benefit.
  • Define and provide the framework for content and content management, including KM tools and object templates.
  • Oversee the overall process with respect to quality, including defining ownership and release processes.
  • Ensure KM object embedding and linking, and retention of search functionalities.
  • Report on issues and utilization of knowledge management, success stories, lessons learned, and other KPIs.
  • Define training courses on PEO KM in general as part of BC Training & Development.
  • Collaborate with Lead Engineers and competence center mentors to define pre-conditions for knowledge application.
  • Train users and authors on the KM process.
Requirements
  • BEng / BTech (Process or Mechanical) with 3+ years of experience as a Mechanical or Process Engineer.
  • Knowledge of rotating equipment and related applications is beneficial.
  • Experience in Knowledge Management or related processes in an engineering environment at a globally diversified organization.
  • Basic Project Engineering knowledge.
  • Knowledge of related Document Management Systems and processes (SAP, SharePoint, Teams) is an added advantage.
  • Fluent in English on a good technical level for communicating in writing and verbally.
