About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Architect to join our team at NTT DATA. As a key member of our Business Intelligence Service Line, you will play a crucial role in supporting customers in Big Data projects, working closely with business analysts and solution architects to understand use cases, data needs, and outcome objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement data acquisition, transformation, and improvement processes to load data into data lakes for analytics and machine learning models.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy cloud-based data solutions, leveraging Azure infrastructure and networking expertise.
  • Develop and deliver proofs-of-concept to address specific business needs, utilizing the most appropriate techniques, data sources, and technologies.
  • Migrate workloads from on-premise to cloud environments, ensuring seamless data integration and minimal disruption.
  • Monitor distributed infrastructure using Azure tools or open-source solutions, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
  • Lead medium-sized teams and contribute to the development of cloud-based data solutions, driving innovation and excellence.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a cloud native environment, with a strong focus on Azure.
  • Proven expertise in Big Data architectures, cloud, and on-premise solutions.
  • Experience with Azure infrastructure, networking, and data engineering tools, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Apache Spark.
  • Strong understanding of Agile Methodology and Kanban, with experience in leading teams and driving project delivery.
  • Microsoft Certification: Azure Data Engineer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
  • Desired skills: experience with non-Azure ETL/ELT solutions, Data Visualization tools, and other Big Data certifications.
