About the Role

ThyssenKrupp Presta AG is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Erection and Commissioning Hub in Italy. As the Head of this critical function, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy for the hub, ensuring seamless execution of our Green Hydrogen modules and on-site service for balance of plant and Chlor-Alkali business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define the scope of activities for the Erection and Commissioning Hub
  • Develop and implement a strategy for the hub's build-up, including organizational sizing and capability development
  • Coordinate the implementation of the hub's build-up, ensuring alignment with business objectives and global strategies
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor progress
  • Develop and maintain a high level of competence within the erection and commissioning teams
  • Work closely with global stakeholders, including sales, engineering, and service teams, to ensure strategy and execution alignment
  • Contribute to overall business strategy and annual budget planning, monitoring budget expenditure
  • Manage and develop people, including succession planning, training, talent management, and career development
Requirements
  • Fluent in English (German and other European languages are a plus)
  • Willingness to travel, especially to Germany and out of Europe
  • Proven track record of experience in MA transaction and build-up of new business in new locations
  • Strong business and management background (Mechanical and Chemical background is a plus)
  • Customer-centric, fact-based, and data-driven
  • Ability to communicate on all levels within the company and with clients/suppliers in written form and verbally
  • Previous professional experience gained in plant erection, commissioning, and service supervision (6 years)
  • Strong decision-making skills
