About the Role

Botto S.p.A., a leading manufacturer of machinery for glass production, is seeking a highly skilled professional to join its new startup branch in Italy. As a Service/Validation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative solutions based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) technologies to automate the industrial hollow glass forming process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Internal Testing
    • Create and maintain test benches to ensure the quality of our products.
    • Design, automate, and run tests to identify and resolve issues.
    • Feed the bug tracker to facilitate collaboration and issue resolution.
  • Plant Testing
    • Collaborate with the Hot End Expert to define test objectives and ensure successful outcomes.
    • Manage hardware and software requirements to ensure seamless testing.
    • Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders to ensure successful testing.
    • Document test results and deliverables to facilitate knowledge sharing.
  • Field Service Support
    • Train customers and new employees on our products and services.
    • Participate in the installation of new products and provide technical support as needed.
Requirements
  • Fluency in English, which will be the official language of the company.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to support colleagues and contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
