About the Position
We are looking for a Sales & Business Development Intern for Hiop Data Platform. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales efforts by combining your technical knowledge with your sales acumen. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience in technical sales processes, customer relationship management, and business development, allowing you to develop and refine your skills in a real-world business setting.
Responsibilities
- Technical Understanding: Gain a deep understanding of our products and services to effectively communicate their benefits to potential clients.
- Sales Support: Assist the sales team in creating technical presentations, proposals, and demonstrations tailored to the client's needs.
- Customer Engagement: Participate in customer meetings, providing technical insights and support to drive sales opportunities.
- CRM Management: Maintain and update customer relationship management (CRM) systems with accurate and up-to-date information.
- Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential leads through various channels, including online research, networking, and attending industry events.
- Product Feedback: Gather and relay customer feedback to the product development team to help improve our offerings.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product, and technical teams to ensure alignment and support in achieving sales goals.
Requirements
- A student in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- Curious (and a bit geek) about technology and AI.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytic, pragmatic, and result-driven.
- A creative thinker with a keen eye for identifying customer needs.
- Talented in written and verbal communication both in English and Italian.
- Knowledgeable in basic technical concepts and software solutions.
- Familiar with CRM and sales automation tools.
- Familiar with technical sales processes and customer engagement strategies.
