Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Ansys. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely generation of financial statements and management reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily accounting tasks related to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and tax returns.
  • Assist the entity Finance Team with financial reporting and analysis.
  • Supervise and train junior accounting staff.
  • Perform general ledger monthly accounts reconciliations.
  • Assist with corporate accounting tasks and special projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics or Diploma in Accounting.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in accounting and financial management.
  • Technical knowledge of Italian GAAP.
  • Advanced English language skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and work well independently.
  • Advanced use of Excel and other Microsoft Office products.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years of Big 4 audit experience.
  • Prior experience within a multinational company.
  • Oracle ERP knowledge.
  • Spanish or Greek language skills.
