Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Test Development Technician to join our team in Lomagna, Italy. As a key member of our Test Development Hardware Team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment malfunctions, executing repairs and replacements, and maintaining accurate records of equipment maintenance history.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting and Diagnosis: Investigate and diagnose equipment malfunctions or deviations from expected performance, collaborating with engineering and production teams to resolve complex technical problems and implement effective solutions.
- Repair and Restoration: Execute repairs and replacements of defective parts or components with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive records of equipment maintenance history, including service logs, work orders, and inventory documentation.
- Calibration and Testing: Conduct calibration procedures using calibrated standards and equipment to maintain accuracy and traceability, and perform functional testing and validation checks following maintenance or repair activities to ensure proper functionality.
Requirements:
- Education: Degree in electronic/computer engineering.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in servicing and maintaining test equipment, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Skills: Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals, strong troubleshooting skills, and ability to analyze complex technical issues systematically.
- Language: Good English knowledge.
- Teamwork: Ability to work in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical Skills: Competence in using hand tools, electronic testing instruments, and diagnostic software.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in documenting maintenance activities and results.
- Commitment to Safety: Commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement in equipment maintenance practices.
