About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled Production Scheduler to join our team as a Plant Operating Planning Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service level results for our products, while also ensuring cost efficiency and planning feasibility. You will be a key point of contact for production scheduling, planning, and optimization, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improvement.
Main Responsibilities:- Define optimal production sequences for each line, considering technological and costing constraints.
- Ensure planning feasibility from a packing perspective and develop a replenishment plan for the short term, with a focus on stock level optimization.
- Develop and monitor long-term replenishment plans, forecasting needs towards suppliers, and defining manpower requirements for production lines.
- Stay up-to-date on production factors influencing output, such as CPK, constraints, and maintenance periods.
- Manage the end-of-life cycle for finished goods and materials to minimize leftovers.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and results for product references, identifying areas for continuous improvement.
- 2+ years of experience in production scheduling or similar activities.
- Master's Degree in a relevant field, such as Management, Industrial Engineering, or Economics.
- Proficiency in Italian and English languages, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to use Excel and other tools.
- Attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team.
