About the Role

Barco is a global leader in visualization, networking, and collaboration technology. We are seeking a skilled Global Services Planner to join our team in Italy. As a key member of our global services organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient management of our inventory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze demand and consumption history to set safety stock levels for each part and maintain them periodically.
  • Review and monitor spare part levels to ensure optimum inventory levels in line with working capital.
  • Create and maintain all material data for spare parts.
  • Provide part information to internal stakeholders, including CSC teams, GTS teams, inventory managers, supply chain managers, logistic buyers, and MRP controllers.
  • Create purchase requisitions and STO's.
  • Align regularly with local Depot Repair regarding parts usage and with Warehouse regarding expediting and sourcing.
  • Assist in defining appropriate stock levels in SAP and confer with global service planners.
  • Implement changes in order priorities and analyze their impact.
  • Manage the lifecycle of the inventory and work with Serviceability managers for Last Time Buy and scrap actions.
  • Assist in reporting on KPI's, open STO's, inventory, and local spare parts stock.
  • Analyze non-utilized spare part stock annually.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent by experience.
  • 3-5 years' experience in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of ERP and MRP system competencies.
  • Good verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
  • Service and customer-oriented mindset.
  • Team player competencies.
  • Prior work experience in supply chain.
  • Knowledge of working in any analytical tools (Excel/Power BI/Tableau).
  • Prior experience in SFDC / CRM.
  • Multicultural work experience.
