Position Overview: The Central Finance Department of Yokohama TWS Group is seeking a Finance & Control Manager who will report directly to the Finance & Control Director. This position integrates financial reporting with business control responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Consolidation and Reporting:
- Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes and consolidation activities for the YTWS Group.
- Implement and execute consistency checks for subsidiaries at a consolidated level, collaborating with country finance directors.
- Generate periodic financial reports for internal stakeholders within YTWS and the Yokohama Group.
- Collaborate with team members to manage the administration of the YTWS reporting and consolidation tool, SAP BPC.
- Enhance financial processes and tools to improve efficiency while adhering to internal control policies.
Business Control:
- Oversee the controlling, budgeting, and forecasting of OPEX and CAPEX for the functions at Yokohama TWS Headquarters.
- Engage in business partnering with the heads of HQ Functions to drive cost control and identify potential budget challenges.
- Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders to promote trust and ensure transparent communication.
- Guarantee the accurate and timely preparation and distribution of monthly financial reports.
- Assist the Central Finance Team in developing the consolidated forecast, budget, and multi-year financial plan for the YTWS Group.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in accounting or business administration.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in a controlling role, preferably within an international organization.
- Basic understanding of IFRS concepts is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and pivot tables.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English.
- A collaborative team player with strong analytical skills and a structured approach.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, facilitating interaction with various stakeholders in a flat organizational structure.
