Position Overview

Bulgari SPA is seeking a Jewelry & Watches Product Merchandising Analyst to join its Global Merchandising Department. This role is pivotal in managing the Product database, ensuring its precision and timely updates, while providing vital support to the Merchandising team in evaluating sales performance and formulating effective distribution strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Product Database Oversight:

Ensure the Product database is consistently maintained and updated, serving as the foundation for merchandising documentation and analyses. Collaborate with Product Managers across Business Units for the introduction of new products and the management of existing product life cycles. Coordinate with Sales teams to define assortments for third-party collaborations. Update and manage documentation provided to Local Merchandisers, including Merchandising Guidelines, Phase-out & Classification changes, and the Novelties booklet.

Portfolio Management & Merchandising Guidelines:

Supervise the Portfolio and Merchandising guidelines documentation, ensuring accuracy and relevance. Recommend enhancements to improve the clarity and effectiveness of the Guidelines. Conduct simulations of prospective assortments to identify constraints for drafting Merchandising Guidelines. Assign Product Merchandising Types and establish maximum values for each Basket. Collaborate in the development of the Visual Merchandising Guidelines brief for Jewelry & Watches.

Sales Performance Evaluation:

Support the Manager in analyzing and reporting on the sales performance of the product assortment.

Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications

Master’s degree in Economics, Statistics, or Engineering. 2-3 years of experience in roles demanding strong analytical capabilities, with a background in database management, data cleansing, and quantitative analysis (preferably within consultancy environments). Proficient in data analysis, reporting, and presentation. Advanced skills in MS Office suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint). Competent in Power BI. Fluent in both Italian and English.
